tak to si hodne vedla kamo, turbotimer sa vola turbo pretoze sluzi na jediny ucel-na zabezpecenie ochladenia turba, to ja teda zase viem. ak ti toto nie je jasne, odporucam ti v tejto debate nepokracovat, akoze nic v zlom, ale pisal by si ale od veci. peace.
spat k povodnej teme: nech je v pripade 200sx s13 akykolvek jazdny rezim pred zastavenim na volnobeh, aj keby si zastavil z plnej zataze a cervenym turbom, 5min je dostatocne dlhy cas na bezpecne vypnutie motora a po beznej jazde kde sa pred zastavenim ide 2-3km volnym tempom su 3min dostatocne dlhe na bezpecne vypnutie motora. Nech uz su dalsie metody akekolvek, na tieto casy sa mozete kludne spolahnut. Samozrejme, je dobre mat na volnobehu aspon predpisany tlak oleja....

Turbo Timers
Designed to prolong the life of your turbocharge, while adding connivance. GReddy Full Auto Turbo Timers allow a vehicle to idle the engine for a timed period, with the ignition key removed. This conveniently allows the engine oil and turbo center cartridge to cool down properly and prolong turbo and oil life. This can be done by two standard programmable count down presets (P-1, P-2), or the GReddy Full Auto Timer can use it’s two auto timer modes (A-L, A-H). The modes estimate the driving RPM according to the vehicle's alternator signal and then recommend a count down time. A stopwatch/lap time and attack modes along with a built in voltmeter and speedometer are also standard features. Safety options for the parking brake and speedo hook-ups can be used to disengage operation if vehicle is attempted to be moved without the key. There are also optional easy to install plug-in adapter harnesses available for most Japanese turbo vehicles.

A to tvoje slavne automaticke urcovanie doby volnobehu je len snimanie otacok, nic viac a povedzme si ze otacky su pri turbomotore velmi chaby realny ukazovatel jeho zataze. Je to len pomocna funkcia s doporucenim doby vypnutia. Iste vies preco....

The most common failure of automotive turbos is due to hot shutdown. This occurs when the vehicle has been running at a constant speed for a period of time and the vehicle is shut off before the turbo has had time to slow down. A turbo can spin at speeds exceeding 100,000 rpm, the faster the vehicle goes or the harder it works, the faster the turbo will spin. If a vehicle is shutoff suddenly the turbo will continue to spin without oil. Each time this occurs, the life of the turbo is shortened because of wear occurring from no lubrication. Eventually there will be enough wear to allow one of the wheels on the turbo to contact its housing. This causes the wheel to be out of balance. This causes even more contact and the turbo is usually destroyed. Allowing the vehicle to idle for a few minutes after its been running hard or allowing the exhaust temperature to cool to below 500 degrees will greatly reduce the risk of premature turbo failure.
A uplne na koniec ti mozem povedat, ze v letectve sa EGT pouziva velmi casto, je to bezny a velmi dolezity parameter a podla neho sa riadi doba volnobehu preplnaneho leteckeho motora pred vypnutim, okrem ineho. Ale samozrejme ty mi to urcite vyvratis, lepsie bude pouzivat zaznam otacok motora pocas letu na vyhodnotenie doby volnobehu....
Skus namiesto kecov predlozit podklady aspon na urovni mojich, rad si ich prestudujem.
